XPE shock pad with oval drainage slots and rolls

W-Series XPE roll shock pads

Type W shock pads are prefabricated shock pads made from closed-cell, cross-linked polyethylene foam. Depending on thickness and density, they are used in synthetic turf systems for leisure, recreation and high-performance football, rugby and hockey pitches that must comply with standards such as FIFA, DIN and World Rugby.

  • Oval slots provide vertical drainage and accommodate expansion and contraction during installation
  • Contain no contaminants, heavy metals or other elements classified as harmful to the environment
  • Long lifespan; at the end of their life they can be reused as material for new shock pads
  • Supplied on a roll; roll length is adjusted to each project

Installation products

We supply the adhesives and repair products your project needs together with the shock pads.

WASP Foam Glue

A polyurethane-based, moisture-curing, one-component adhesive foam. Its non-expanding gel bonds construction elements such as brick, blocks, stone, natural stone, PE foam and EPS, and is more practical and economical than conventional mortar. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use and resistant to all weather conditions.

Application

  1. The surface must be solid, clean, dry and free of dust, oil and grease. A slightly moistened surface gives better results.
  2. Keep cold cans at room temperature for about 20 minutes before use; shake the can vigorously about 30 times.
  3. Screw the can onto the gun and hold it upright during application; adjust the amount with the trigger.
  4. Apply the foam between the elements and press the materials immediately to fix them.
  5. Clean fresh foam with foam cleaner before it cures; cured foam is removed mechanically.

Safety

Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with skin and eyes; wear gloves. Apply in well-ventilated areas and do not breathe the vapour. Protect from freezing, direct sunlight and temperatures above 50 °C; do not expose to open flame.

Silver repair tape

Multi-purpose repair tape in various strengths and materials, supplied in the sizes you need. Fast, safe delivery at competitive prices.
